What phone photos do I need?
Six photos: front smile, right bite, left bite, upper arch, lower arch, and a retracted front view. Good indoor light is enough - no professional photography needed.
What is an OPG and do I need one?
An OPG is a panoramic dental X-ray. It is optional but significantly speeds implant, All-on-4, and crown assessments. Ask your UK dentist or an imaging centre for a copy.
Is the quote binding?
It is a clinical estimate. Final treatment lines and pricing are confirmed after an in-person examination at the clinic or tele-dentistry review.
Will you quote in GBP?
Yes. All quotes for UK patients are provided in GBP.
How long does a quote take?
We aim to reply within 24 hours. Vietnam is 7 hours ahead of UK winter time and 6 hours ahead during British Summer Time. Our team will also reach out within 24 hours to schedule a free video consultation with the treating dentist.

What implant brands does Picasso use?
Picasso stocks Straumann, Straumann BLX, Nobel Biocare, Osstem, ETK, Neodent, and SIC. All fixtures come with manufacturer documentation. Nobel Biocare and Straumann carry 10-year crown warranties; Osstem carries a 5-year warranty. The treating dentist recommends the brand based on bone volume, jaw position, and patient budget.
How long does a dental trip to Vietnam need to be?
A single-implant placement typically requires 3-5 days on the ground. All-on-4 full-arch restorations require a minimum of 5-7 days for placement and fit of the temporary arch. Veneers (10 units) generally take 5-7 days. A personalised trip-length estimate is included in your free quote.
Is it safe to have dental work done in Vietnam?

Does UK health insurance cover dental treatment at Picasso?
Most UK health insurance policies exclude overseas elective dental treatment. However, Picasso can provide itemised invoices in GBP for any claim you wish to lodge - coverage depends on your specific policy. Check your insurer's terms before travelling.
What warranty do veneers and implants come with?
Emax veneers carry a 7-year warranty. Lava and Lava Plus crowns carry 10-year warranties. Nobel Biocare and Straumann implant systems carry 10-year crown warranties; Osstem carries a 5-year crown warranty. No brand offered by Picasso carries a lifetime warranty. Warranty documentation is issued at treatment completion.
Can patients from outside London get a quote?
Yes - the quote process is fully remote. Patients from Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, and any other UK city or region can submit photos and receive a GBP plan by email. One-stop routes to Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City are available from major UK airports, subject to airline schedules.
What languages does Picasso speak?
Picasso Dental Clinic operates in English and Vietnamese. All patient coordinators, quote correspondence, and treatment documentation are in English. French and Russian are not supported.
